    DMG Blockchain Technologies TSX.V:DMGI

While Vancouver-based DMG Blockchain Technologies (TSX.V;DMGI) started out mining bitcoin in British Columbia, the just listed blockchain startup had greater aspirations. Over the past year DMG has evolved into a full-service blockchain company that offers superb diversification in the form of four revenue streams: bitcoin mining, “mining as a service” (MAAS), forensics & data analysis, and blockchain software management.

“DMG is a fully diversified bitcoin and blockchain company. We have large industrial bitcoin mining, we have numerous platforms being built using blockchain technologies and smart contracts, and we have a forensics division that ensures that consumers can trust our brand, and that clients can trust our brand.” CEO Dan Reitzik

DMG Blockchain Technologies has an ambitious goal: to become domain experts in supply chain verticals across many industries, which could include agriculture, pharmaceuticals, energy, precious metals, transportation - you name it. The way they’re going to do it is through a unique business model whose main value proposition is a diversity of revenue streams anchored by a very experienced management team capable of pulling off a multi-layered approach to blockchain.

I like DMG for its choice of four revenue platforms, and its scalability.

DMG BLOCKCHAIN TO DEVELOP BLOCKCHAIN SOLUTIONS FOR GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

DMG Blockchain Solutions Inc. has entered into an agreement with IBM Canada Ltd., and has selected IBM technology and services to jointly develop and deploy blockchain-based, global supply chain management solutions. These solutions will enable complete provenance, regulatory compliance, inventory management and on-time payment of products along the entire supply chain for regulated products such as pharmaceuticals.

IBM Services' experts will collaborate with DMG to help build its new supply chain solutions, which will leverage the IBM blockchain platform and DMG's deep experience in blockchain analytics and forensics. Under the agreement, DMG expects to spend approximately $3-million in the first 12 months to develop the global supply chain platform and up to a total of $10-million over three years through the hiring of IBM's personnel. DMG expects to finance these costs through existing cash on hand, revenues, and if required, further financings or collaborations with other companies. IBM will provide program managers, technical architects, full stack developers, data scientists, data engineers and developers to work alongside DMG's blockchain development team.

The overall supply chain project has deliverables, specific projects, timelines, and mandates that set forth the goals and steps as the global supply chain is developed. Under the agreement, IBM is not investing money in DMG or in the global supply chain platform; rather, IBM will bring its personnel, global reach and existing technology to this collaboration.

The solution will initially be deployed for enabling regulatory compliance, verifying provenance and tracking quality control for regulated products, including pharmaceuticals. The IBM cloud will host the solution and interfaces between the blockchain technology and legacy enterprise systems, ERP systems, and integration with manufacturers, distributors, retailers, shippers, as well as reporting and auditing systems. The benefits of this collaboration and the potential sources of revenue are not known at this time. DMG will provide further updates as this global supply chain platform is developed.

Dan Reitzik, chief executive officer of DMG Blockchain Solutions, commented: "We are honoured to work with IBM to jointly develop this global platform. It is a testament to the expertise and experience of our blockchain development teams in Silicon Valley and Vancouver. Our first step is to develop this platform with IBM and then to monetize it."

DMG's chief technology officer, Danny Yang, is leading the development effort, and he is being supported by a strong team of advisers that includes Litecoin's creator, Charlie Lee. DMG's development team has already begun working with IBM Services to begin architecting the framework for this new supply chain solution.

Peter Finn, IBM Canada's chief technology officer for strategy and growth, and master inventor, commented: "Blockchain is ideally suited to address supply chain challenges because it establishes a trusted environment for all transactions. We are pleased to work with DMG on this important initiative. DMG's selection of IBM services and blockchain technology on the IBM cloud will help create robust blockchain solutions so all participants in the pharmaceutical or agriculture supply chain can gain permissioned access to known and trusted information regarding the origin and state of their transactions."

Massive Jump yesterday and this morning trading halted. Was thinking of jumping out and jumping back in when it inevitably falls again but now I'm curious to see what the news is

Continued slide here. Basically this stock is tied so closely to the value of Bitcoin unfortunately when the business seems sound and not so directly related. Too bad, hopefully some good financials can lift this or another boom in Bitcoin value at some point.

Climbed up a couple more cents today. Nice little run the last week or so, up about 25% from it's bottom. Wishing I bought some more when it was lower but hindsight is always a killer.

Completed listing on the TSX Venture Exchange

    Revenue of $3,344,699 (552% quarter-over-quarter revenue growth)

Purchased 2,650 new mining rigs utilizing an additional 4 megawatts of power for DMG's MaaS customers

Completed acquisition of Blockseer, a Silicon Valley-based software development company, for approx. $2.6 million and 7,673,076 DMG shares

Constructing flagship data center with up to 85 megawatts ("MW") of mining capacity, 40 MW of which are expected to be available in Q3.

Appointed Charlie Lee, creator of Litecoin, and Lou Kerner, known as the "Crypto Oracle" to DMG's advisory board

Added two expert cryptocurrency and blockchain legal advisors, Varun Gupta and Samuel Osei

    The CEO's Message

Our second fiscal quarter of operations was the most active period to-date for DMG Blockchain Solutions Inc. The Company continues to build its presence both in Japan and North America thanks to its expanding mining operations and development of blockchain analytics tools. Following our Q1 announcement of a Mining-as-a-Service (MaaS) agreement with the Bitmaster Financial network in Japan, DMG received an order in excess of $3 million from Japanese based Forside Financial Service ("Forside") for mining hardware purchases and set-up.

The majority of DMG's current revenues are derived from our MaaS business (hosting and management of Bitcoin mining facilities on behalf of third parties globally), which uniquely insulates DMG from fluctuating Bitcoin spot price volatility. During Q2, we purchased an additional 2,650 Bitmain S9 mining rigs to fill orders from our MaaS customers, servicing them with approximately 4 megawatts of power. DMG's flagship mining facility is 27,000 square feet of industrial space which can host over 30,000 mining rigs. DMG is working with its energy utility partner to deliver over 150 megawatts of hydroelectric power to multiple sites over the next 18 months.

DMG also completed its acquisition of Blockseer, developers of industry-leading crypto-analytics and artificial intelligence (A.I.) software. Blockseer's roadmap of analytics tools includes Bitscore, a risk-scoring tool for analyzing cryptocurrency holdings, Graph Intelligence, which traces bitcoin flows through the blockchain, and Market Factors, a blockchain data feed for market trading algorithms. Existing Blockseer clients include the US Department of Homeland Security, F.B.I., and I.R.S.

The Company also announces it has issued a total of 125,000 stock options to an employee and an officer of the Company at an exercise price of $0.80 with an expiry date of June 30, 2021.

DMG BLOCKCHAIN ANNOUNCES LICENSING AGREEMENT WITH JCIS IN JAPAN

DMG Blockchain Solutions Inc. has entered into a licensing agreement with Japan Credit Information Service Co. Ltd. (JCIS), a Japanese company engaged in fintech to market and sell DMG's proprietary blockchain data analytics and forensics software tool -- Bitscore -- in the Japanese market. The parties may in the future enter into a joint venture.

Japan is the first country to officially regulate bitcoin markets and, as such, is the ideal jurisdiction for KYC (know your customer) and AML (anti-money laundering) technology products. DMG's suite of analytics tools, developed by its Silicon Valley-based Blockseer team, includes Bitscore, a risk-scoring tool for analyzing cryptocurrency holdings, Graph Intelligence, which traces bitcoin flows through the blockchain, and Market Factors, a blockchain data feed for market trading algorithms.

"This partnership opens up a significant new Asian market and distribution channels for our data analytics software," said Dan Reitzik, chief executive officer of DMG Blockchain Solutions. "Our technology is already proven in the U.S. market, and is trusted by U.S. Secret Service, FBI, law enforcement and several top corporate audit firms."

Chris Filiatrault has stepped down from his role on DMG's board of directors and will focus his efforts on this new licensing agreement with JCIS. Mr. Filiatrault will continue to work with DMG from time to time as it expands throughout the Asian market.

I wish they never pushed the bitcoin so much, imo there is real value and utility in blockchain and even more in forensics. If they keep making deals and can show revenue this will be a great stock.

I think it is so tightly tied to Bitcoin value regardless of business metrics

Bitcoin/Cryptocurrencies are in the news, often several times/articles per day portrayed as poisonous scams. On the other hand there are numerous articles weekly talking about Blockchains utility, being used for various applications across many different sectors. Your right.
